Whole-Home Remodel
Kanapaha Pines
We were very fortunate to be invited to renovate this Gainesville home, not once, but twice, over the last year to update the vast majority of the floor plan. These homeowners entrusted us with their kitchen, master bath, guest bath, and bumping out the front of their home to add in square footage from an unused front porch.
We approached this work in phases, knocking out the master bathroom, as the owners considered their options for the remainder of the home. We removed a large tub, replacing it with an oversized shower, which better suited the owners’ needs.
In the kitchen, we removed a wall that hid the kitchen away from the rest of the home. This served to enlarge the space into a more modern, open floor plan, more functional for entertaining. And who wouldn’t want to show off this sleek, shiny new space? An angled sink area was removed, and adjusted to a straight, galley-type configuration, removing a frustrating bottleneck between the prior location of the refrigerator and sink.
New flooring, front door, touches around the fireplace, and a remodeled guest bath complete this gorgeous renovation.
